Black

Fever feel upon my mind
Quiver to quake my body makes
Sweat beads on my brow
Breath shallow hard to swallow
Scarce energy barely able to move
Muscles weak, day seems bleak
No black in the pit of my gut
I may burst, blackness I thirst
It’s my water, it’s my wine
Feeling dazed seeing through a haze
A tingling sensation to my senses
The aroma brings, titillation rings
Just a taste, a sip, a swallow
Fill my mug with a fantastical drug
I want the blackness to fill my heart
Let the darkness rain in my veins
Wake me from my delirium, stupor
Make me whole, ignite my soul
